IN HERCULANEUM

The site of Herculaneum is at about 10 minutes walking from the Circumvesuviana train station called “Ercolano Scavi”.
HOW TO REACH ERCOLANO SCAVI STATION

- From Naples you can reach Ercolano Scavi by train with direction Sorrento (the trip lasts about 30 minutes)
- From Sorrento you can reach Ercolano Scavi by train with direction Naples (the trip lasts about 45 minutes)

HERCULANEUM SITE INFORMATION
Opening times of Herculaneum:
Winter season (November – March), 8.30 AM to 5.00 PM, with the last admission at 3.30 PM
Summer season (April – October), 8.30 AM to 7.30 PM, last admission 6.00 PM
Tickets: €11 per person for an adult.
Visits are free of charge for EU citizens under 18, and half price for EU citizens aged 18-24 and EU permanent school teachers.
