Spectacular tour in the archaeological sourrandings of Pompeii

This tour consists in a marvelous walk around of the ancient roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, buried from the ashes of the volcano Vesuvius in 79 a. D plus a walk in the amazing city of Naples.

A walk in Pompeii is a very intense experience; you'll have the feeling of wandering in a still alive town. I will explain you the history of the town and how the Romans lived showing you all the most important public buildings and private houses. Herculaneum is much smaller but better preserved then Pompeii; here is still possible seeing second stories, carbonized wooden objects, intact paintings and mosaics. With our explanation we'll make the city come to life. Naples is a brilliant city on Italy's southwest cost; it's a mishmash of architectural styles, with elegant 18th-century palazzos, castles and wonderful churches.
In alternative you can visit the Archaeological Museum of Naples that preserves most of the extraordinary masterworks of art discovered in Pompeii, Herculaneum, Stabiae, Oplontis and also the most beautiful statues collected in Rome during the 16th century by the cardinals of the family Farnese. Naples is also the city of the PIZZA; don't miss the occasion to try an original brick's oven Margherita!

-Highlights Pompeii: the Marina Gate, the Basilica (court house), the Forum (main square), the Forum baths, the Lupanar (brothel), the bakery, the house of Faun, the Termopolium Capuano, the house of Tragic Poet, the plaster casts.

- Highlights Oplontis: the extraordinary Imperial Villa of Poppea. We'll see the perfectly preserved courtyard, the thermal area, the kitchen, the toilets, the servants area, the saloons showing amazing frescos and the gigantic portico around the massive swimming pool.
