The images contained on these pages show some of the many ways of using computer modeling and rendering to give as clear an idea as possible of the feeling and form of the finished building. Great emphasis is placed on the emotive quality of the building in its setting.

Old Arsenal of Amalfi

The Museum is housed into the ancient Shipyard, the principal testimony of the amazing republican past of Amalfi.

The recentely renovation work  sets the stage for an hig level of reclaming operation ,for a creation of cultural facilities, capable to pass glorious signs of Amalfi:the most famous and powerful Maritime Republic of the History.

The Herculaneum Conservation project was set up by David W. Packard, president of the Packard Humanities Institute (a philanthropic foundation), with the aim of supporting the Italian State, through the Soprintendenza Speciale per i Beni Archeologici di Napoli e Pompei (the local heritage authority), in preserving this uniquely valuable, but at the same time fragile, archaeological site.

The Blue Grotto

The Oplontis Project’s mission is to conduct a multidisciplinary and systematic study of Villa A (Villa di Poppaea) at Oplontis (Torre Annunziata, Italy).  Under the direction of John R. Clarke and Michael L. Thomas of the University of Texas at Austin, and in collaboration with the Soprintendenza Archeologica di Pompei, an international team of scholars will partner to produce the definitive monograph on the villa.

This project, begun by Francesca Tronchin and Diego Bonilla in June 2002, will consist of more than 500 QTVR panoramas, linked in order to create a virtual walk through the site of Pompeii in Southern Italy and a visual index to the archaeology of the site. The project is still in its early stages. Soon, all the panoramas will be built, linked, detail photographs will be added and an accompanying text in both Italian and English will be written by Francesca. All programming and design will be undertaken by Diego.
