1. What are private tours?

Having a Private Tour means that you will not join a group but you’ll have a guide and a driver just for yourselves.

It is by far the best way of visiting our region. No lines, no hassle, a truly personal service..

2. Can I customize my tour?

Yes, of course! We know that not everything is everyone's cup of tea. We can arrange a tour based entirely on your needs and wishes.

3. What’s NOT included in the price?

Lunch, the admission fees and the transportation (where it is not specified).

4. Who are the guides and the drivers?

At Pompeii.com, we know the key to the success of your trip is often the travel experience, the archaeological and historical knowledge, and the people skills of our tour guides and drivers, and so that's why we strongly recommend our clients should always be accompanied by one of our team, whenever possible.

In this way, you'll make the absolute most of this once in a lifetime experience.

All transportation is provided by licensed, insured and professional drivers, who are qualified to perform public transportation services all over Europe.

5. What is the maximum group size?

Obviously, the smaller the group, the more personal the service we can provide. So, we tend to favour small groups, up to a maximum of 10 persons. Having said that, we can also arrange tours for larger groups upon request that will meet the needs of your party.

6. Can you help me organize my trip with hotel, restaurant or itinerary planning?

Just ask! We’re happy to help with anything you might need.

7. What is the pick up/drop off point for the tours?

The pick up/drop off point can be your hotel/accommodation/airport/port/train station, or any other location agreed with you. We are very flexible and understand that changing nature of people's itineraries.

8. Which vehicle do you use for the tour?

We use modern air-conditioned Mercedes sedan or minivan and minibuses. All of which provide an excellent standard of comfort and more than adequate baggage space.

9. How will I recognize my guide/driver?

The guide or the driver will wait for you at the agreed meeting point and will hold a sign with your name on it.

10. What languages are your tours in?

English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese

11.What is your cancellation policy?

12. Is a prior deposit necessary?

You can prepay the total amount or a deposit of 100euros in advance for the full day tours and a 60euros deposit for the walking tours, the balance must be paid in cash on the day of the tour.
